A Sucker For Sweets

In 1969 Salvador Dali sketched a renewed Chupa Chups logo in one hour on a piece of newspaper over lunch with owner Enric Bernat, the basis of which is still being used to today. Look for the flavour Soysupersexy!

Soggy Blogging

Even though print design is my first love, I recently cracked open some code and redesigned Mama's Sauce Blaug! Please don't probe my back-end properties if you know what I mean.

Surrounded By Somebodies

Recently I've been drooling over this Kettle Corn made by Lesser Evil Brand Snacks. A few months back I noticed their packaging and incredible logo on a trip to the grocery store. Turns out they were created by local illustrator Brian Boesch of Itchy Illustration. I'm now acquainted with this genius because he's moving in next door to Mama's Sauce.

As if things couldn't get more glorious, another incredible illustrator will be making waves (and sweet creatures) in the building beside us. Yes indeed, our good friend Anna Melcon Bond (also a genius) of Rifle Design will be moving in next door as well. Her most recent screen printed wedding invite (battered with Mama's Sauce) will be featured in a forthcoming issue of Martha Stewart Living which is perfect because I need a good cookie recipe for the warm-welcoming basket I'll be making for our new neighbors.

The P Stands For

Since I sold the screen printing end of my business to PCX Media, I thought it might be fitting to throw in a new stamp of approval in a homage to PTS.

Lovely Creature

Photo of a nice young lady wearing a t-shirt I made for Baron Von Bear. Hand drawn type by Anna Melcon Bond.
